Mungkin semua org termasuk yg membaca artikel saya kali ini sudah mengenal software yang bernama Nmap ini.
Nmap ("Network Mapper") ialah software free open source yg digunakan untuk explorasi jaringan atau auditing keamanan. Software ini telah dirancang secara teliti pada suatu jaringan yang cukup besar. ya walaupun cuma dapat digunakan pada "single host". Nmap menggunakan raw IP untuk menentukan host ap yang tersedia di jaringan tsb.
* Can be used by beginners (-sT) or by pros alike (–packet_trace). Software yang sederhana jk kalian mengerti ap hasil yg dimaksud oleh Nmap.

2. Nessus Remote Security Scanner
Salah satu software yang msh free dan tentunya yg msh bekerja sama dg sebuah client-server framework.
Nessus merupkan salah satu software vulnerability scanner yg sangat popular yg telah digunakan lebih dari 75.000 organisasi di seluruh dunia, Mengagumkan bukan :D. Banyak dari organisasi* besar dunia menggunakan Nessus untuk merealisir Biaya uant tabungannya ke suatu aplikasi dan alat perusahaan mereka yang bernama audit business-critical.

3. John The Ripper
Wuih namanya hampir sama kyk nick name yg di pake di FB q :D.
John The Ripper ,yang nanti qt akan sebut JTR saja merupakan software yang sangat cepat dalam melakukan proses pasword cracking, juga tersedia di beberapa macam dari Unix yaitu ( 11 dari official ), DOS, Win32, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Kegunaan utamanya sih untuk cracking Unix Password yang cukup lemah (weak).
Software ini support di Windows NT/2000/XP/2003.

Nikto ialah sebuah software Open Source (GPL) web server scanner yang mana dpt melakukan test menyeluruh thp web server untuk multiple items, termasuk 3200 files/CGls yg telah di scan dan berbahaya pada versi server di atas 625 servers dan masalah spesifikasi di atas 230 servers. Plug-in dan items dapat ter update secara otomatis.

Namanya cukup simple ya, :D tp kegunaannya dong ...........
yg mana p0f ialah sbuah software OS Fingerprinting. p0f dapat mendeteksi OS di :
– machines that connect to your box (SYN mode),
– machines you connect to (SYN+ACK mode),
– machine you cannot connect to (RST+ mode),
– machines whose communications you can observe.
Yang bagus, software ini dapat mem fingerprint ap aj, tp software ini tidak membuat koneksi aktif pada target machine.

Wireshark aialah software GTK+-based network protocol analyzer, atau sniffer, yang bisa meng capture dan browse isi dari network frames secara interaktiv.
yang lebih penting dari software ini ialah untuk membuat commercial-quality analyzer untuk Unix dan untuk memberi fitur* dari Wireshark yang mana fitur tersebut telah hilang dari closed-source sniffers.

hping biasanya digunakan intuk test TCP/IP kita. hping dapat diartikan sebagai command-line oriented TCP/IP packet assembler/analyzer. lebih menarik lagi fungsinya yaitu menggunakan command untuk nge ping Unix, tapi hping tidak hanya bisa mengirim ICMP echo requests. hping juga mensupport TCP, UDP, ICMP and RAW-IP protocols, dan banyak lagi yg lainnya.
